This family owned business isn't just another business. They make you feel like family starting from the owners, sales staff, right down to the delivery team. I have bought from Herb Hays for over 25 years and continue to go back every time I am looking for something to add or replace in my home or office. Friendly staff.Listens to your wants and needs. Gives you time and space to view products in the store without being all up on you like some stores staff. They offer well made products. Love my Bedroom set that we purchased there. They also support their community.

Tyler was very helpful in selecting my husband's mattress for his sciatica issues. He had great knowledge about all we looked at along with bamboo sheet selection. The delivery gents, Carl and (?)Austin, we're prompt and courteous. They were willing to assist me with any set up or changes I needed to the frame to make the bed comfortable for my husband. Very professional and friendly.

I had custom ordered some furniture and ended up being very allergic to the fabric. I was having asthma attacks and subsequent doctor visits. The policy said no returns on custom orders. I called them anyway. They told me to come in and pick out something else! I couldn't believe it! I never dreamed of this kind of customer service. They will be my furniture store forever!

When my husband and I retired from the military, and moved back here,we needed to buy furniture. The first place I went was Herb Hayes furniture store, the reason I choose there is because in 1963, my mom and dad.went there and Mr Hayes treated them like royalty. We also were treated wonderful. So if you need furnishings and want honest people Herb Hayes is the place to go.

To all that know me, knew I was moving to KY from Austin, TX....now in Hoptown. Went into Herb Hays furniture and , WOW, the service I received was AWSOME !!! The bed I wanted was not the norm, nothing for me is, but, they listened and pulled it together and my dream bed will be delivered next week!! The extended wait, due to unforeseen circumstances resulting from Covid19, for our Catnapper sofa and loveseat was worth it. We are pleased with our purchase. The staff at Hays Furniture communicated with us regularly regarding our purchase so we knew the status throughout the wait period.
